Open Access Studio
We offer open access studio memberships that allow people of all levels to come and use the studio independently and whenever suits them during our opening hours. Membership offers the opportunity to develop your pottery skills in the beautiful surroundings of the loam studio. Membership is designed for part-time potters and ceramicists.
Included in the memberships are access to the studio’s equipment and tools, including the studio’s commercial glazes, along with clay for members to use. Each member will be allocated their own storage shelf, as well as access to communal storage.

The cost for membership is £110 per month.

Maximum 6hrs per week.
This is perfect for individuals who would like to spend a few hours a week at the studio working on their pieces.

Clay.
All tools, equipment and access to the studio’s commercial glazes.
Firing.
Individual storage shelf.
We offer the below open access times:
Mondays: 10am - 9pm
Tuesdays: 8am - 9pm
Wednesday: 8am - 9pm
Thursdays: 11am - 9pm
Fridays: 8am - 9pm
Saturdays: 8am - 5pm
Sundays: 8am - 5pm
Members: Booking Your Studio Time
Booking a pottery wheel is via our online booking system. Bookings must be made at least 24hrs in advance.
If a member wishes to hand-build or glaze, without the use of a wheel, we ask that you send an email to the studio with the requested studio use times at least 24hrs in advance.
This system ensures members always have space when arriving at the studio and ensures that the studio is staffed or access provided otherwise during this time.
Cancellation of any bookings must be made at least 48hrs in advance.
